JUST GRACE, just GREAT
Think hiding out in a mountain cabin would be romantic? Grace thought her predicament was upsetting and unnerving---until she fell for the man she was stranded with. Only she wouldn't let him in on her secret. She'd hold her love quietly in her heart.

But then that wasn't like Grace. She never could keep a secret, and she never could fall in love, until she fell for Dr. Gatlin O'Malley.

JUST GRACE is another exciting ride conjured up by Carolyn Brown. Hop aboard, and bring your seat belt.

Enthralling
I literally could not put this book down. I picked it up after midnight one evening to help me fall asleep and could not manage to get it closed until I had finished reading the whole thing.

Labor of Love (Avalon Career Romance)
Published in Hardcover by Avalon (August, 2002)
Author: Carol Costa
Average review score:

One of the best Avalon romances
I have read Avalon romances and Avalon career romances for the last few years, and the quality varies greatly from book to book and from author to author. Labor of Love is one of the best. Well-written, engrossing, deeply romantic, and intelligent, it is a novel that I really enjoyed. Some Avalon romances are written in a shallow, eighth-grade style; this one is terrific. I was born and raised in St. Louis, so I appreciated the St. Louis setting, also.

The Legend of Shamus McGintys Gold (Avalon Western)
Published in Hardcover by Avalon (April, 2002)
Author: I. J. Parnham
Average review score:

A great book!
Randolph has had a pretty full life, protecting Fergal O'Brien (seller of the miraculous "Universal Remedy") from irate customers. However, his job is about to get a whole lot more complicated. When a dying Morgan Armstrong falls in with the ruthless Quinn Rogers and his band, he tells them that he will share the secret of the location of Shamus McGintys gold, but only if Quinn can cure him. Who can cure Morgan? Why, the man with the medicine that will cure anything! But what of the gold? There's a lot more here than meets the eye.

This is a great story. I picked up this book on a lark, but frankly did not expect too much. However, Mr. Parnham (from Nottingham, England?) weaves a wonderful story that keeps you guessing at all of the various interlocking mysteries. This is really a highly entertaining book that I would not hesitate to recommend, even to those who don't normally like cowboy stories. This is a great book!

Love in Motion (Avalon Romance)
Published in Hardcover by Thomas Bouregy & Co (February, 1998)
Author: Theresa Goldstrand
Average review score:

Love the characters, love the setting, and gentle romance
Ms. Goldstrand has the ability to involve all your senses in the Avalon romance she has written. Love in Motion is a book that held my attention start to finish. Her characters are charming, and very true to life. I was able to get a feel for vintage car racing, and enjoy a private insight into the life of a young woman who wants to excel, and struggles to make the reach. She does, of course and along the way finds love. It was fun, and a book I have read twice. It's a KEEPER!

The Love Potion (Avalon Romance)
Published in Hardcover by Thomas Bouregy & Co (February, 2001)
Author: Ludima Gus Burton
Average review score:

The Love Potion
We all want to believe in magic. In this book we are told that it exists. So Starr and Eric have to prove to themselves, as well as to others, whether this is so. Their testing of the love potion on unlikely couples is entertaining and holds the reader's interest to the end of the book. In fact, I was disappointed that the book ended so quickly. For a good read, this book will not disappoint you.

Love Runs True (Avalon Career Romance)
Published in Hardcover by Thomas Bouregy & Co (August, 1998)
Author: Rachel Evans
Average review score:

Love Runs True
I enjoyed reading a book that made the reader believe there was an incredible attraction between the main characters instead of giving us play by play on their lovemaking. It's a wonderful story about an ambitious women. Believable without the mush. I look forward to reading more of Rachel's books.

This is a great follow-up to the first Sam Mckall mystery, ENDANGERED. I love the characters and the setting. The puzzle is also very interesting and believeable.
